The Mount Pleasant Village Board approved three agreements that advance plans from Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft) to purchase a 315-acre parcel of land in the Village of Mount Pleasant to develop a data center campus.

According to Redfin’s 2022 4th quarter search results, about 17% of home-seeking Chicagoans were looking to relocate to a new metro area. Lower cost of living, lower home prices, short commute times, and accessibility to Chicago and Milwaukee, has positioned Southeast Wisconsin as the ideal location for a majority of these home seekers.
Formerly the Olympia Brown School and Western Publishing Company facility, the Water’s Edge Condominiums are now under construction and available for purchase. Located in the Village of Caledonia, the Water’s Edge Condominiums are nestled on the shore of Lake Michigan.
Racine County, RCEDC, local municipalities, and partnering developers have taken the initiative to meet the housing needs head-on. Because of this comprehensive collaboration, Racine County is experiencing a much-needed increase in housing development, leading to over 3,600 additional housing units in Racine County.
