Regency Mall redevelopment approved for $39.4 million Racine incentive

RACINE, WI – A $39.4 million Racine incentive to transform the Regency Mall property gained a final city approval this week, marking another step toward developer Hull Property Group bringing a new grocery superstore and apartments.

Hull in August 2022 announced its plan for the mall at Green Bay and Durand avenues. The city funding will help Hull Property demolish vacant space in Regency Mall, clearing land for the planned new buildings, said John Mulherin, vice president of government relations for the Georgia-based owner of the mall.

It calls for us to tear down about 400,000 square feet of the existing mall,” Mulherin said.
