    The Village of Union Grove Board of Directors approved updates to the existing Union Grove Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program on Tuesday, April 25.

    The Residences at Dunham Grove are officially open for leasing. The collaborative effort to bring this housing development project to Union Grove was celebrated by members of RCEDC, Racine County, the Village of Union Grove and the developer, PRE/3.

    Two Racine County businesses saw the ZERO Loan Program as an opportunity to improve operations - the City of Racine’s Pawstar and the Village of Union Grove’s Graphic Sign Shop.

    The Build Your Own Business program helps entrepreneurs open a storefront location for 3 - 5 months in downtown Union Grove. Business owners receive assistance in finding a store front location, business and marketing plan assistance from the SBDC at UW Parkside, and access to a $500 grant upon signing a lease of no less than 3 months and no more than 5 months.

    RCEDC’s mission is to grow Racine County’s property tax base and by supporting business expansions, provide employment opportunities to Racine County residents. In 2023, RCEDC staff were able to facilitate 64 projects that included comprehensive site selection, loans, grants, and incentives resulting in $1.36 billion in private investment and $1.05 billion in new construction.
