The Racine County Economic Development Corporation will celebrate their 37th Anniversary at the 2020 RCEDC Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 30. The event takes place at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Racine.
The Annual Meeting is an entertaining and informative event giving guests an insider’s look into the businesses assisted, the projects completed, and the collective community impact created from these efforts. The Annual Meeting reflects the progress made towards completing the Racine County Economic Development Plan (EDP), published in 2017. The plan was created to provide Racine County leadership with a compilation of challenges and strategies that are specific to the future economic vitality of the county.
The plan also represents a departure from traditional thinking by linking economic development planning with comprehensive planning, and by actively engaging all elements of the business and political leadership.
Some highlights of the event include announcements of the Sam Johnson Volunteer of the Year, the Business Development Project of the Year, and the Lender of the Year. RCEDC will also bring back Jack Uldrich as the keynote speaker.
Tickets for the event cost $35 for the general public and $25 for RCEDC investors.
