Compassionate Corner is taking the next step in its growth by acquiring a property in Burlington, expanding its services from daytime programming to residential care. This loan is another partnership between Bank CMG and RCEDC. To finance the company’s property acquisition, RCEDC worked with Jake Stilling of Bank CMG.
RCEDC, the City of Racine, and the Downtown Racine Corporation (DRC), introduce the Downtown Racine Business Attraction Loan Program, a new financing resource designed to help businesses establish a street-level presence, activate vacant storefronts, and invest in Downtown Racine.

Legacy Redevelopment Corporation in partnership with the City of Racine are offering loans to small for-profit
businesses that are owned and operated in the City of Racine.
This program allows for structures that have owner occupied businesses within the boundaries of the TID district to apply for up to $75,000 in forgivable loans for building improvements such as façade upgrades, signage, landscaping and even interior
improvements.
The purpose of this program is to assist Union Grove businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 and support business retention until the economy stabilizes.
