BizStarts Racine Graduates Ready to Take Their Businesses Further
Nine Racine County entrepreneurs celebrated their graduation from the first phase of the BizStarts Racine on October 8, 2026, at Gateway Technical College’s iMET Center, marking another milestone for the program.
Presented by RCEDC in partnership with the BizStarts Institute, BizStarts Racine helps aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs build the skills and connections needed to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. The year-long program begins with six weeks of in-person training covering marketing, operations, financials, and funding strategies.
Following the classroom portion, participants move into one-on-one mentorship and hands-on consulting projects, where they work with experienced professionals and college students to strengthen their business plans and identify opportunities for growth.
The next BizStarts Racine cohort is planned for fall 2027, with classes held for six consecutive Thursdays from 4:30–7:30 p.m. Tuition is $500, and scholarships will be available to help offset the cost. Applications are not yet open, but interested entrepreneurs can learn more about BizStarts Racine on RCEDC’s website.
