RCEDC Leadership Council Meeting with Real Estate Panel | October 2021

OCTOBER 12, 2021 – RCEDC staff and Leadership Council welcomes a panel of real estate developers to discuss current and future development projects in Racine County. The members of the panel featured in this video have decades of experience working on a variety of transactions in multiple markets. Most importantly, each of these developers has made considerable investments in and around Racine County and Southeast Wisconsin.

BILL LINVILLE, scannell properties

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Linville is involved in all aspects of the firm’s activity with specific emphasis on land and project development investments. Prior to Scannell, Bill was a managing partner with SCP, an investment and development firm managing more than a billion dollar strategic capital fund. He spent most of his career as an executive officer with Duke Realty Investments.

Over a twenty year period, Bill was a major part of the company’s expansion from two markets with $400 million in assets, to one of the nation’s largest mixed-use developers operating as a public REIT from 15 offices with a $10 billion market cap. He was personally involved in creating an industrial portfolio of over 100 million square feet, and more than 40 business parks across the country. Over that career, Bill has been a consistent leader in office/industrial development, resulting in $3.5 billion of new development product, $2 billion in acquisitions, and $1.5 billion of third-party construction projects.

don schoenheider, hillwood

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, MARKET LEADER FOR THE U.S. MIDWEST REGION

Don Schoenheider brings more than 30 years of real estate sales, development, and management experience to Hillwood. Based in Chicago, he manages all functions of the operation for Hillwood and pursues development and investment opportunities in markets such as Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, and Milwaukee.

An acknowledged expert in industrial development, Don previously served as Managing Partner of Jones Development Company, where he launched their Chicago operation focusing on single-tenant, industrial build-to-suits. He also served as Principal of Trammell Crow’s brokerage and corporate services groups, and later was named Managing Director for its entire Chicago-area operation.
