Foxconn Announces $569 Million Expansion in Racine County

New investment will add nearly 1,400 jobs and boost local manufacturing

Published December 2, 2025

Foxconn has recently announced a $569 million investment to expand its Mount Pleasant operations, a move expected to add 1,374 new jobs over the next four years. In support of this growth, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) approved up to $16 million in additional performance-based tax incentives, bringing Foxconn’s total eligible credits to $96 million through 2029.

This expansion is driven by increasing demand from U.S. customers and the need to strengthen domestic supply chains for advanced data and technology infrastructure. Foxconn leaders say the company’s Wisconsin workforce—already a significant portion of its U.S. employees—will nearly double by the end of the decade.

WEDC has confirmed that Foxconn has invested nearly $717 million and created 1,242 jobs in Mount Pleasant so far, qualifying the company for more than $62 million in tax credits.

Foxconn’s continued growth highlights Racine County’s role in supporting innovation, advanced manufacturing, and long-term economic development.
