Every year, RCEDC celebrates the outstanding work of the people and businesses that create a tremendous impact on the economy, our communities, and the those positively affected by their work. Award winners will be announced at the annual event, Impact 2026.
For the past 42 years RCEDC’s focus has been to grow the local property tax base and create jobs for our residents. This is accomplished by facilitating business expansion projects, recruiting new businesses, and attracting developers to Racine County.
Celebrating 42 Years of Economic Development
In 2024, the 71businesses supported by the resources administered by RCEDC will invest more than $749 million, including $541 million in new construction, which will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the local economy. Furthermore, these projects are expected to result in 268 jobs created and/or retained. Such a substantial influx of private capital bolsters Racine County’s economic resilience and vitality.
