RCEDC's Mid-Year Progress Positions Racine County for Continued Growth

RCEDC’s 2026 Mid-Year Economic Development Report highlights the progress we’ve made toward our strategic plan goals during the first six months of the year and outlines priorities for the remainder of 2026.
Through mid-year, RCEDC hasassisted 59 businesses, facilitated $160 million in private investment, and supported projects creating or retaining 365 jobs, exceeding our annual jobs goal by 53%. Business attraction efforts have already surpassed our annual private investment target, while business expansion and entrepreneurship initiatives have exceeded annual goals for approved loans, grants, and incentives.
The report also highlights progress in talent attraction, entrepreneur support through BizStarts Racine, and major investment projects across Racine County, including continued expansion by Microsoft, Kedali America, and Amazon.
As we look ahead, we remain focused on business attraction, business expansion and entrepreneurship, talent attraction, housing initiatives, and developing a new strategic plan to support Racine County’s continued growth and success.
