RCEDC’s primary focus is to facilitate business expansion that results in increased real estate tax base and the creation and retention of jobs. These activities are accomplished by working in partnership with private businesses and local governments to facilitate new development.

Are there grants available for my business?
Grant funds available to businesses are generally limited. Several Racine County communities offer targeted programs to encourage development. Racine County’s Matching Grant assists qualifying women, minority, veteran, and manufacturing firms located in Racine County. Several communities offer grants to assist with exterior facade improvements, including in the City of Burlington, City of Racine, Village of Union Grove, and the Village of Waterford. The City of Burlington also offers grants in combination with its low-interest loan program.
