Tivoli Green Development Welcomed to Racine County

Impactful.

That is the word Matthew Moroney, COO of Wangard Partners, Inc. and Tivoli Green’s groundbreaking Master of Ceremonies, used to describe the people and organizations who brought this 278-unit Mount Pleasant project to fruition.

“This is an exciting project that myself and the Village of Mount Pleasant are proud to welcome into our community,” said Dave DeGroot, President of the Village of Mount Pleasant.

Along with Moroney and DeGroot, the program featured Jonathan Delagrave, Racine County Executive; Dave DeGroot, President of Mount Pleasant; Jenny Trick, Executive Director of RCEDC; Jeb Meier, COO at Greenfire Management Services; and Stewart Wangard, CEO and Founder of Wangard Partners, Inc.

Wangard said the strong partnerships cultivated throughout this process not only helped expedite the project, but were instrumental in creating much needed market rate housing in Racine County.

“I couldn’t be more satisfied with the work our teams have done up to this point,” said Wangard. “This project not only signifies opportunity for current and future residents of Mount Pleasant, but it also highlights the fact that Racine County is taking the right steps to prepare for positive growth and development.”

From talent recruitment and workforce development to spurring future growth and supplementing the Foxconn megaproject, each respective leader covered various aspects of how this project came to be and more importantly, how it will positively impact the community and the region.

“High-quality projects like Tivoli Green help prepare Racine County for continued growth and development in the coming years,” Delagrave said. “As we work with local businesses on our community workforce strategy, increasing our housing stock will play a significant role in ensuring our County’s success. I’m excited to see this project move forward and I want to thank Wangard Partners for its investment in Racine County.”

The 278-unit complex will include amenities and layouts for a diverse set of residents ranging from studios to 3-bed and 2-bath units. All units will have private entrances. One-bedroom layouts, plus all 2 and 3-bedroom layouts will include an attached garage.

Each unit will offer stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, kitchen islands, full-size washers and dryers, nine-foot ceilings, designer light and plumbing fixtures, luxury vinyl plank flooring in living areas, and carpeted bedrooms. Monthly rent will start at $1,100 per month. Wangard Partners, Inc. plans to have units available for rent by the fall of 2020.
