Trene McCaskill, owner of H.E.R. Valley – a self-care and revitalization service in Racine – will celebrate the grand opening of her new location at 904 State St. on July 9th at 11:45 a.m.

Centro Sperimentale del Latte USA Inc. (Cultures Supporting Life), a probiotic company, recently established its first operations in the U.S. with a manufacturing facility in Caledonia, Wisconsin. The investment is part of a multimillion-dollar project expected to create up to 31 jobs over the next four years.

To help encourage business improvement, retention and attraction, the Village of Sturtevant created a new program with favorable loan terms – little to no equity requirement, low-interest, and principal deferrals.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) recently awarded the Village of Waterford $250,000 as part of the Community Development Investment (CDI) Grant program. The grant will go towards construction of what will become the Waterford Lofts, located at 506 E Main Street.

The newest Racine County grant, the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) was launched in late 2021. Nearly $72,000 has been approved for businesses throughout Racine County that were negatively affected by the pandemic. Fortunately, there is still $330,000 available.

The Village of Union Grove Board of Directors approved updates to the existing Union Grove Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program on Tuesday, April 25.

Creative Welding & Fabrication previously leased most of the space at 120 Industrial Drive in Burlington. After learning about the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 504 program, owners Roger Baumeister and Jeremy Uhlenhake decided to purchase the building, which allowed them to expand operations and begin collecting rent from existing tenants.

Summit Packaging Systems celebrated the 77,000 sf expansion to their current facility located at 3441 S. Memorial Dr with a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, April 5th.
