Sturtevant, WI – In January 2022, BRP launched production of the Sea-Doo Switch, a customizable pontoon at its Sturtevant, WI manufacturing facility. To support production and distribution requirements, BRP plans to invest more than $14 million in improvements to its existing manufacturing facility and the development of an off-site shipping yard that will hold the finished product prior to distribution. In addition, BRP plans to update its marine training center to support training for BRP dealers and product technicians attracting up to an additional 400 visitors to the Village annually.
BRP is proud to be an important business in Racine County and is honored to maintain its Marine Group headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. In 2020 and 2021, we invested in and retooled our manufacturing facility in Sturtevant to enable the production of a new product, the Sea-Doo Switch. Our goal is to maximize the use of our current facility and expand our footprint in the area to support our future growth. Our investment and commitment would not be possible without the support of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County, and the State of Wisconsin, and the great assistance of the Racine County Economic Development Corporation, who have been fantastic stewards for the area.
To facilitate BRP’s continued investment in the Village of Sturtevant, the Village Board and Community Development Authority recently approved a multi-year agreement to provide financial assistance of up to $800,000 from Sturtevant’s Tax Increment District #4.
